The Gothic Full Plate Armour from Margaret Medieval Shop represents the pinnacle of our craft — a complete harness forged from 1.2mm high-grade steel, shaped and fitted by hand across weeks of painstaking work in our German workshop. Inspired by the fluted Gothic plate armours of 15th-century German armouries, this piece carries both the weight of history and the precision of modern metallurgy.
"To wear this armour is to carry five centuries of martial tradition on your shoulders — crafted not for display, but for the warrior within."
Each plate is individually shaped over a steel mandrel, then cold-worked to produce the characteristic Gothic fluting that gives both structural rigidity and its unmistakable aesthetic. Edges are rolled and finished to prevent stress fractures. All articulated sections — shoulders, elbows, knees — are riveted with period-correct spring-steel lames that move naturally with the body.
The harness is completed with a full set of quality leather straps and buckles, fitted to standard measurements but adjustable across a generous range. A custom sizing service is available for an exact bespoke fit — enquire via our contact page.

Absolutely extraordinary. The fluting on the breastplate is razor sharp and the articulation on the shoulders moves better than any other armour I've owned. Worth every cent — this will outlast me.
I use this for historical re-enactment at events across the UK. The fit from the standard M sizing was near perfect, and the build quality is comparable to pieces three times the price. Margaret's communication throughout the order was impeccable.
Museum-quality finish, and it arrived packaged like a work of art. I purchased this as a display piece and it has become the centrepiece of my collection room. Several curator friends have mistaken it for a period original. Remarkable work.
